TV Is My Drug of Choice: Shooting Laser Beams From My Eyes
The last time I attended a seminar about vision correction was in 1995, when LASIK was the new thing. This time there's a new new thing: IntraLASIK. With both surgeries, a small part of your cornea is cut and lifted, creating a flap underneath which the laser will reshape the eye. With "traditional" LASIK, the corneal flap is made with a razor tool. (Razor + Eyeball = Freaking out) The new IntraLASIK procedure uses a laser to create the corneal flap. Studies show it's more accurate and can help create better vision. The doctor I saw called it "high definition" vision... TV Is My Drug of Choice: Shooting Laser Beams From My Eyes
